该器件由两个独立的电压比较器组成,设计用于在宽电压范围内通过单个电源供电。只要两个电源之间的差值为2 V至36 V,并且VCC比输入共模电压至少高1.5 V,就可以使用双电源供电。电流消耗与电源电压无关。输出可以连接到其他开集输出,以实现有线和关系。
