LM111是一款电压比较器,其输入电流比LM106或LM710等器件低近千倍。它还可以在更广泛的电源电压范围内工作:从标准±15V运算放大器电源到用于IC逻辑的单5V电源。输出与RTL,DTL和TTL以及MOS电路兼容。此外,它可以驱动灯或继电器,在高达50 mA的电流下切换电压高达50V。
