ADV601和ADV601LC均为极低成本、单芯片、专用功能、全数字CMOS VLSI器件，能够对CCIR-601数字视频进行高达350:1的视觉无损实时压缩和解压缩，图像质量非常高。ADV601可提供每分量10位的处理性能和专用DSP串行端口，采用160引脚PQFP封装。ADV601LC提供每分量8位的处理性能，无DSP串行端口，成本超低，采用120引脚小型TQFP封装。
