SN65MLVD2和SN65MLVD3是单通道M-LVDS接收器。这些器件的设计完全符合TIA /EIA-899(M-LVDS)标准,该标准经过优化,可在高达250 Mbps的信号速率下工作。每个接收器通道由接收使能( RE )控制。当 RE = low时,启用相应的通道;当 RE = high时,相应的通道被禁用。
M-LVDS标准定义了两种类型的接收器,指定为Type-1和类型2。 1类接收器(SN65MLVD2)的阈值以零为中心,具有25 mV的滞后,以防止输出振荡而输入丢失;类型2接收器(SN65MLVD3)通过使用偏移阈值实现故障保护。接收器输出采用压摆率控制,以降低与大电流浪涌相关的EMI和串扰效应。
器件的特点是工作温度范围为-40°C至85°C。
