TPS51120是一款高度复杂的双同步降压控制器。它是一款全功能控制器,设计用于直接从三节或四节锂离子电池供电,并为笔记本电脑系统中的所有下游电路提供高功率和5V和/或3.3V待机调节。大电流,100 mA,5 V或3.3 V板载线性稳压器具有SMPS无故障切换功能,可在待机状态下独立保持活动状态。伪恒定频率自适应导通时间控制方案支持全范围的电流模式操作,包括简化的环路补偿,陶瓷输出电容以及在轻负载条件下无缝转换到降频操作。针对SP-CAP或POSCAP输出电容器优化的可选D-CAP模式操作允许进一步减少外部补偿部件。动态UVP支持VIN线下垂,无需通过击中5-V UVP来锁定。在UVLO,UVP和OCP,OTP或VIN损失期间,输出电压节点处不会出现负电压。
