TPS56X20一款同步直流 - 直流转换器IC(集成电路),此转换器具有电压调节控制功能,以便为要求内核电压(V < sub> CORE )调整的微处理器(MCU)供电。最初加电后,输出电压可由I 2 C兼容总线上发送的VID代码编程/调节。
这个降压转换器采用一个自适应接通时间D-CAP2模式控制,此模式控制在无需外部组件的情况下提供极快的瞬态响应。与传统的电压/电流模式控制不同, D-CAP2支持较高负载下的PWM模式与轻负载情况下的Eco-mode™模式之间的无缝转换.Eco-mode在轻负载时保持高效率。
TPS56X20支持超低ESR陶瓷电容器和低等效串联电阻(ESR)输出电容器,诸如高分子钽固体电解电容器(POSCAP)或高分子聚合物电容器(SP-CAP)。此器件针对小尺寸1.0μH至2.2μH电感器进行了优化,节省了印刷电路板(PCB)面积。
