TPS56X20一款同步直流 - 直流转换器IC（集成电路），此转换器具有电压调节控制功能，以便为要求内核电压（V < sub> CORE ）调整的微处理器（MCU）供电。最初加电后，输出电压可由I 2 C兼容总线上发送的VID代码编程/调节。
这个降压转换器采用一个自适应接通时间D-CAP2模式控制，此模式控制在无需外部组件的情况下提供极快的瞬态响应。与传统的电压/电流模式控制不同， D-CAP2支持较高负载下的PWM模式与轻负载情况下的Eco-mode™模式之间的无缝转换.Eco-mode在轻负载时保持高效率。
TPS56X20支持超低ESR陶瓷电容器和低等效串联电阻（ESR）输出电容器，诸如高分子钽固体电解电容器（POSCAP）或高分子聚合物电容器（SP-CAP）。此器件针对小尺寸1.0μH至2.2μH电感器进行了优化，节省了印刷电路板（PCB）面积。
TPS56X20器件采用HTSSOP封装。
