TPS65251具有三个宽输入范围的高效同步降压转换器。这款转换器设计用于简化其应用,同时使得设计人员能够根据目标应用来优化他们的用法。
这款转换器可在5V,9V,12V或15V系统下工作,并且集成有功率晶体管。可使用外部电阻分压器将输出电压设置为每个转换器均具有以下引脚:使能引脚,可针对排序用途而延迟启动启动时间;电流限制(RLIMx)引脚,使设计人员能够通过选择外部电阻器来调节电流限制并能够优化电感器的选择。转换器的电流模式控制功能可简化RC补偿。
转换器的开关频率可根据需要选择通过ROSC引脚所连接的外部电阻器来设置,或者与SYNC引脚所连接的外部时钟同步。开关稳压器设计为在300kHz至2.2MHz频率范围内运行。降压转换器1与降压转换器2和3之间呈180°异相运行(降压转换器2和3同相运行)最大限度地降低了输入滤波器要求。
TPS65251具有监控电路,可监控每个转换器输出。电源排序完成后会将PGOOD引脚置为有效,并报告所有PG信号,期间耗时为一段可选的复位结束时间.PGOOD信号的极性为高电平有效。
TPS65251还具有轻载脉冲跳跃模式(PSM),通过将LOW_P引脚连接至V3V即可启用该模式。当主机处理器处于待机(低)活动状态)模式时,PSM模式允许降低提供给系统的输入功率。
