江苏宏云陶建平:MCU+DSP芯片架构用于无线充电

【导读】:2018年4月27日,在电子发烧友主办的无线充电研讨会上,来自江苏宏云技术有限公司董事长兼总经理陶建平,从三方面入手,分享了基于MCU+DSP芯片方案。

宏云核心竞争力

拥有8/16/32位单片机(MCU)设计技术,陶建平说宏云切入无线充电市场的时间不长,但是核心竞争力已经形成,设计有自定义指令集的数字信号处理器(DSP),是宏云在市场竞争中最大的差异化优势。

基于DSP架构的处理器可以采用单个或多MAC运算单元。比如,JMT018内核是当前世界上最小的DSP芯片,单MAC运算和除法指令等,16比特指令编码,且大多指令为单周期指令,其极低的功耗和通用的指令,非常适合智能硬件,可穿戴设备的应用。

DSP产品规划

宏云最突出的是特色是,拥有自定义指令集数字信号处理器(DSP)设计技术,公司先后建立了单核MCU和MCU+DSP双核平台,在这两个平台上推出了两个系列的MCU SOC芯片。

宏云的产品规划

陶建平介绍,宏云的产品规划主要应用于,电机的FOC正弦波矢量控制、无线充电和快速充电管理、麦克风阵列等方向。

在会上陶建平为我们重点分享了,8/16位MCU芯片JMT1808/1808R,采用8bit MCU和16bit DSP双核架构。73MHz的51+DSP,外设也非常丰富如:PWM, ADC,内部运放,比较器等,加上内部集成有DSP核,因此性能不错,有工程师评价可直接替代TI的芯片,性价比非常高。

JMT1808(MCU+DSP)芯片架构

JMT1808内核的是73MHz(运行在eFlash下)的8051 MCU,其8051性能仅次于Silicon Labs,同时还内置了DSP内核,支持四则运算及Cordic,130多条DSP指令。 而在IO方面,同样支持多种通信接口,可满足电机控制、物联网及可穿戴等诸多市场,JMT1808R(MCU+DSP)芯片架构运算能力非常强,而且想要省功耗,还可以分开运行的。

而无线充电管理芯片JMT1801ED则是在1808R的基础上开发的,这是一款基于JMT018-1MAC内核的芯片,采用的是MCU+DSP架构,支持无线充电联盟(WPC)的Qi 1.2标准,其DSP内核技术的软件平台,可实现高效的 PID 控制环路,通信协议的数字解调;可用于无线充电的定频,变频,调占空比,调压控制等控制方式; 支持外来物体检测(FOD),并且具有多种保护等特征。能够为移动设备(智能手机、平板电脑) 和工业设备等充电。

在实测当中,当用12W的功率给iPhone8充电的时候,效率可达82%,并且由于DSP是宏云自己的开发环境,客户可选择使用或者不使用,方案都是可定制的。

无线充电应用方案

陶建平说宏云的无线充电应用方案均是建立在8051的开发环境下的,并且提供了经济版和钻石版两种选择。

第一种经济版定频-调压相对省钱,对于预算有限的厂家来说比较合适,基本实现了调压的目的,用料上能省则省。

第二种钻石版定频-调压的设计豪华很多,原材料更好,有一个用来调压的MOS,相对于经济版调压也更稳定,并且芯片管脚足够的话,可以做多线圈的。

最后陶建平说,DSP是宏云自由的开发环境,客户可以选择使用,并非强制使用。

陶建平介绍江苏宏云成立于2012年,由曾任职世界著名通信和半导体公司经验丰富的IC设计团队,从事DSP芯片的研制,设计有自定义指令集的数字信号处理器(DSP)。

陶建平本人拥有丰富的IC设计经验,曾在美国摩托罗拉、飞思卡尔半导体、中兴美国等公司从事手机基带和应用处理器SOC架构设计工作15年,现任江苏宏运技术公司董事长兼总经理。
