The MAX9679A provides multiple programmablereference voltages for gamma correction in TFT LCDsand a programmable reference voltage for VCOMadjustment. All gamma and VCOM reference voltageshave a 10-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) andhigh- current buffer, which reduces the recovery time ofthe output voltages when critical levels and patterns aredisplayed. A programmable internal reference sets thefull-scale voltage of the DACs.Two independent sets of gamma curves and VCOMcodes can be stored in the IC's volatile memory; BKSELsignal selects between the two sets.
